To extend our Operations Team, we are looking for an Operations Engineer.

To extend our Operations Team, we are looking for an Operations Engineer who loves solving software problems and issues, communicating with the customer and internal stakeholders, and thriving in an informal working atmosphere. The team currently consists of a team manager, a service manager, and five other operations engineers.
What are your responsibilities as an Operations Engineer?
The responsibilities of an Operations Engineer can be divided into four key areas:
- Application availability: Keeping track of metrics and errors regarding infrastructure, application, and database servers.
- Data availability: Monitoring processing performance, processes, and errors. If necessary, you create tickets for structural processing issues.
- Workplace and application management: Managing access to customer production environments, managing the applications and hardware at the office, and maintaining the office network.
- Incident management: Monitoring, resolving, and analyzing issues and testing the problems fixed on acceptance and production environments.
Additionally, you ensure proactive communication with the customer regarding the status of delays, issues, and other relevant information. You also deliver custom reports to colleagues and customers.

Who you are…
You love to dig into problems: what is the cause, and how can we fix it? Furthermore, we are looking for someone with strong social and communicative skills. You have a proactive attitude and are customer-driven. You are critical, analytical, and a natural problem solver.
The hard skills we are looking for are:
- You are familiar with the ITIL Foundation.
- You have a bachelor’s degree or above (or equivalent experience) in IT.
- You master the Dutch and English languages professionally in both written and spoken form.

- A market conform salary, depending on your skills and knowledge.
